 Our playgrounds are
the children's favorite feature of the center. We have just over two acres of
land, much of which has a lovely canopy of trees providing shade in the summer
and protection from the elements in other seasons. The
play areas are divided by wooden fences, so each age group has a safe area
of play without the concern of older or younger children posing a hazard.
 We have
a total of eight active playgrounds, with even more areas that may
be converted into additional play spaces in the future. We also have long-term plans
to transform some of our wooded area into a nature trail.
All of our playgrounds have extensive mulching to ensure a safe landing for kids play.
Most play areas have a mixture of different surfaces (mulch, sand, grass) and in addition, we
have a huge sand playground that all can enjoy.
 The kids have access to balls, tricycles, sand toys,
foot-pedaled riding toys, and some large play structures. While the pictures here provide just a glimpse of
the play environment we provide, you should visit us in person to see how much your child will enjoy
the playgrounds at Children's University.
